The article is devoted to the problems of intersubjectivity, communications and dialogue in nonclassical and postnonclassical philosophy. Interpretation of a phenomenon of intersubjectivity is characterised by gradual shift of attention with intentionality consciousness certificates to communicative processes and further – to responsivity.

R. Ingarden is the disciple of E. Husserl, founder of phenomenology, which is the philosophical inquiry into the foundation of all cognition. R. Ingarden aspires to bring phenomenology on more realistic grounds and therefore he uses literature work as an example of multionticity of culture. Since phenomenology delves into the conscious acts, ontological subjects have no separate placement there.

The author explores the functioning of collective memory in the traditional society of Vedic India. He has shown that ethnical identity was weak in this society: aryan is a value identity, not a class, or national hallmark.

War can be considered as one of specific forms of communication. It is realised at two basic levels: personal level and group level. The successful communication on each of the above mentioned levels is possible only on condition that both participants possess a set of moral and professional qualities. The process of development of these qualities can be defined as „The Warrior's Way" nd "The Commander's Way".


In opposition to the mass culture shock represented by photography, Kandinsky accepted three most advanced strategies, namely, the abstract against the concrete, the eternal against the temporary, and the rite value against the exhibition value. This paper elaborates the development of intercultural communication as a field of study in China. In the focus of the article are the principles of teaching foreign languages at the University in terms of intercultural communication in general and the development of syllabus for this purpose in particular.

The research shows that in the process of teaching the Chinese language outside China such important aspects as culture and national character do not receive proper attention. The author of the article tries to find scientific approach to the problem to promote for better teaching of the Chinese national culture and character at foreign universities.

This paper claims that cognition linguistics is the foundation of language transfer. Language transfer is the important theory of TCFLT. So cognition linguistics is useful for the TCFLT. The language transfer is divided into two parts: inter-lingual transfer and intra-lingual transfer. The inter-lingual indicates the transfer from the first language knowledge to the second language. The intra-lingual indicates the transfer in the second language knowledge. The present study aims at improving the teaching method of TCFLT.

In the process of teaching a foreign language poor knowledge of cross-cultural differences may result in low cross-cultural communicative competence. College English teaching should be closely linked to the development of English education in the world. Language and culture should be combined in language teaching and students should be encouraged to change the way of thinking, while teachers should focus on arousing cross-cultural awareness, explore the deep cultural connotation of the language to enhance the students' perception of the target language culture, and strive to foster some talents of great cross-cultural communication quality.


The demand for professionals with profound knowledge of foreign languages has been increasing as a result of social and economic progress. Now test-oriented English teaching in colleges fails to prepare college students for international communication after graduation. This article makes a thorough analysis of the drawbacks of Band 4 and Band 6 and arrives at the conclusion that university graduates, whose curriculum does not include preparing for Band 4 and Band 6 exams, prove to be more competent at foreign languages in the end.

The history of language policy in Russia has been considered. It can be characterized as inconsistent and subject to fluctuations at various periods. After 1917 steps were taken to enhance the role of local native languages and develop them. However, in the 1930s the Russian language began to oust other native languages from social and economic life. At present the language policy is rather vague and not strictly formulated.


In this article the modern meanings of German modal verb mögen are analyzed with reference to the theory of cognitive linguistics. Structure of its meanings is considered as reconsideration of Indo-European and old German meanings of that verb corresponding to its actual cognitive function to reflect the objective modality.

The global economic integration, the development of information technology, international concern for health-care and anti-terrorism are the factor that lead to dramatically increasing number of international contacts and exchanges.

This article focuses on the interest to the Chinese language in Imperial Russia. The paper covers the period from XVIII to the first half of XX century. The author pays attention to the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in China. The Mission initiated the study of China and its languages in Russia. The article contains information about the first translators of the Chinese language, the first Chinese dictionaries and textbooks in the Russian Empire, analyzes the reasons which led to the study of the eastern neighbor.

The paper deals with the pragmatic aspects of the language play in press-media news, especially with the correlations between reality and text information. Corresponding to the types of macrotext presentation of language play some degrees of reality transforming in the news are exposed, such as ironical nuance of narration, complication of the event structure and reformatting of the event picture.

The article deals with the methods of creating of an advertisement and touches upon the subject of gender, social, age-related, cultural and national specification of its target group.


In this article, I want to show, which picture of orthodoxy the German press draws in a certain period. As an example of a big German regional newspaper I have chosen the Nürnberger Nachrichten, daily published in the city of Nuremberg. Nuremberg has half a million inhabitants and is located 20 kilometres south of Erlangen.
