The paper deals with the methodological aspects of speech influence research of media news. The meaning of the term «speech influence» and criteria of news genres differentiation are also discussed. The specific character of speech influence in the news is that the mechanisms of macrotext level prevail over the lexical-syntactic means.

The article deals with a social factor of language person in the mass media. The most important purpose of mass media is an influence on public consciousness. But in case to consider the mass media not as a general, faceless concept, also as a concept having the certain person (format) and concrete representatives, it is possible to see all the same language person in the name of the sender or the author-journalist.

An important part takes a description of yellow newspapers, which are powerful device of influence. In the paper are also described history, definitions, specific features and arts of the interview. The article is devoted to the analyses of the style of speaking of the famous Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The special attention is given to the aggression as a form of the language behavior. The article presents the classification of a politician's strategy and describes the forms of the speech aggression.


The paper deals with the phenomenon of unconscious speech aggression. "Unconscious" means the kind of speech aggression, when the sender has no intentions to render his utterance as aggressive, while the addressee nevertheless perceives his speech as aggressive.

The following article presents some results of a research of a personality type "the British Queen" which is being performed within the bounds of cultural linguistics (lingvokulturologia) and in which the author intends to frame a model of the personality type "the British Queen". In the article the author examines paradigmatic bonds in the English thesaurus of the lexeme "queen" that nominates the concept "the British Queen".

The following article considers English pejorative idioms from the point of view of the prevailing role of negative evaluation expressed in the language. There are five segmental groups of phraseological units in this article that characterize a person through (via) the following criteria: appearance, mental abilities, character, the condition of being drunk and relations between people.


The main subject of the article is a composing form as a unit of the language and the speech. We suppose that the composing form as a unit of the language has a certain set of the linguistic constants, but in the discourse only a part of these constants will be used. The use of the linguistic constants depends on several reasons: first of all on the preferences of the author and on the preferences of the recipient. The composing form as a unit of the language is something common and the composing form as a unit of the speech is inimitable.
